About the Service


We are recruiting for a well-established specialist imaging department based within a hospital site in Sydney. The service delivers high-quality diagnostic imaging to inpatients, outpatients, and surgical referrals, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient care.

This is a fast-paced, hospital-based environment with a collaborative multidisciplinary team and established imaging protocols.


The Role


We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Radiographer to join the team on a one-month locum contract, with the potential for extension.

This position needs to be filled from March 9th or March 16th and offers exposure to a diverse and complex caseload within a professional hospital setting.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality CT imaging services while maintaining a strong commitment to patient safety, clinical accuracy, and workflow efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of CT examinations in line with hospital protocols.
• Cardiac CT scanning (where experienced).
• Provide CT support for interventional guidance procedures (desirable).
• Ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnostic reporting.
• Provide exceptional patient care, including preparation and positioning.
• Maintain radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, medical staff, and the wider hospital team.

Technology & Environment

• GE multi-slice CT scanner (experience highly desirable).
• Advanced dose optimisation capabilities.
• Fully integrated RIS/PACS systems.
• High-volume surgical, acute, and specialist referrals.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration.
• NSW Radiation Licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ CT experience preferred.
• GE CT experience highly desirable.
• Cardiac CT and interventional guidance experience helpful.
• Strong technical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team.
